So we finally arrived in Cairns after dramatic time at Singapore airport. Apparantely it is Quantas' policy to overbook its flights and even though we arrived at the airport 2 hours early we were the first people to not get onto the flight. We've spent four days in Singapore now. We've been on a river cruise along the Singapore River, to the Raffles Hotel and had a "Singapore Sling" Cocktail. We've watched a laser show on the largest water fountain in the world, been on a night safari and been to many of the shopping malls that are here!!! Stayed here for a day. We went round visting all the tourist attractions on a trishaw, it was so much fun. All the drivers have competitions to see who has the best trishaw and they decorate them with flowers and lights. They even compete on who has the best sound system, our's was loud!! Didn't really seem appropriate cyclying around the quiet streets but it was fun!!
