Well on Tuesday we set off early to head north. Leaving the forest we saw 17 kangaroos in a field. It was misty but we watched two of them up vertical sparring with each other. Another unexpected occasion. We drove the rest of the Ocean Road passed Melbourne and Canberra, both of which we would like to have seen but opted for the Blue Mountains and Sydney. The drive was 900km but we did have stops at some interesting towns.

Just past the koalas we stayed on a free campsite next to the sea. Here is Sarah enjoying a drink on the beach. Of the 10 nights in this camper van 4 have been on a site, 3 in open areas and 3 with Desri in Berri. Incidentally it was hot when we were in Berri at 33 degrees but yesterday it was 45 degrees yesterday. The hottest we have had so far was Perth at 36 degrees.

At the end of a great drive along the coast we could not believe at the end of the day we found loads of koalas in a forest. We had been told we might but look at this. We have a dozen photos of koalas from this location. This was a real treat.

There are many London Bridges !!! We had a walk round Port Campbell. All the ports and villages along here are worth time to explore.

We have now had a day in Sydney. More about this later !!! I return to the start of our Ocean Road route. We first hit the coast at the bay of islands. This is very similar to the 12 apostles which we saw later in the day.
