up early to breakfast and packed lunch, bus to the pantanal in the back of a mini bus. Cramped in the back with the wheel arch and not enough space for shoulders so we had to sit one shoulder forward. Had the aircon dripping constantly on my shoulder and soaked mt singlet, hat and anything else. Sarah offered to swap to the window seat but pulled it back after remembering about the dripping.
Arrived at a turnoff and jumped on a truck for the last 20 km. the room was lovely and cold when we arrived and was a very welcome change to the bus and rio.
Before dinner we had a boat trip spotting animals and taking in the surroundings. We went ashore for sunset which really was amazing. Dinner and bed.
