My first blog post of the trip! I left my house at 6:20 this morning (Wednesday) and caught a coach to Gatwick. The journey was an hour and a half delayed and I deffo considered that I could possibly miss my flight but I shook that negative thought out my head. Attraction and all that. I made friends with the cool driver and spoke to him the way instead lol South African, been here 8 years, split up with his ex, parents live in Germany etcetc (could probably write a biography on him now). Cool guy.

The flight to Dubai was not bad. Pure happy to get a window seat but then not so happy because all I could see was wing - huge white wing. Such a lovely view. The highlight of my flight was watching everyone sit baffled wondering how to eat their tub of complimentary icecream. I of course, was digging in with the spoon that they not so cleverly hid in the lid hahahaa I did share my finding with the older couple next to me though.

My current position - It's 10:50pm Uk time and I'm sitting at the gate in Dubai waiting for my connecting flight. Ooo just spotted the man opposite with a burger. I might go and find a munch.

Dubai airport is huge. Everyone seems to be buying gold, hmmmm.

In 10 hours (ahhhhh) I will land in Beijing! I will update once I navigate myself to my hostel.

Updateee: I wanted Burger King or Maccy ds but they don't have that here. Just posh food places. Just spent £10 on a cheese burger and a drink,sat down and munched it - it was really nice btw. Put my rubbish in the bin and sat down. Few minutes later a couple comes next to me holding a bag of MCDONALDS!!! Whattttt! Where is this place hidingggg. I'm going to assume they bought it all the way from Dubai City Centre because I did not see a McDonald's in here!! Cha.
