This day we decided to have coffee at McDonalds in Sarlat and use the free wi fi. Afterwards we drove to les Eyzies-tayac-Sireuill where we went to the Musee National Prehistoire. We had lunch at the cafe here and then from the attendants advice decided to visit 2 sites. There are very many sites in this area to visit . We went to St Cirq and had a guided tour of the Unesco listed Grotte prehistorique du Sorcier. Then onto the Village Troglodytique da la Madeleine. All very interesting and unique. We checked out the local restaurant only to be disappointed again that it appeared to be shut. Oh well I guess baguettes and vegemite will be okay. We saw the patisserie open so bought some cakes, so dessert was assured. Packed our suitcases after dinner so we were all organised to leave for Brive in the morning. We have had a great time driving around this glorious part of the world. A bit challenging at times but well worth doing.
