The big question is.....Where are you guys going?! And why?
The Why? Well, why not? The Where? Read on......
Camino de Santiago(end Jan to mid March)
We are going to head out on the 25th Jan for the Camino de Santiago! Very exciting! Six weeks of nothing but sleeping, eating and walking in the footsteps of countless others! Have a look at www.csj.org.uk/ or just google "camino de santiago" for a lookie-see if you are keen.
Egypt
From there we head back to London for a very brief turnaround before heading out to Egypt. We are meeting some friends and heading down Lake Nasser with Explore. This looks absolutely brilliant. Have a look at www.explore.co.uk and put NN into the box called "tour reference". Brilliant.
Africa(April to end June)
We will head souh toward Cape Town via Uganda and some volunteering work, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Zambia, Botswana and Namibia! We plan to spend some time in Uganda working for Softpower - http://www.softpowereducation.com/home.asp!
Anybody keen to join us on a safari through Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater in May? Maybe the islands of Pemba and Zanzibar for some diving? Or a train through Tanzania and Zambia to Victoria Falls? How about the Okavango Delta or the dunes of Namibia? How do the winelands of the Cape sound? Not to mention the Drakensberg? Keen? We are!!
Hong Kong and SE Asia(July)
As ever, a journey through SE Asia demands attention. And who are we to deny it some time there? Thai beaches, Laotian mountains, Vietnam trains and coastlines and Cambodian rivers. A little sojourn in Honkers means walking the famous street markets of Kowloon District!
India and Nepal(August and September)
A slow and meandering trail into Northern India and Nepal and, hopefully, the Annapurna Circuit will see us do some volunteering in the Lang Tang Valley in Northern Nepal before heading to Australia.
Australia(mid Sept to Oct)
A 5 week trip through Australia and Tasmania will see us checking out everything between Darwin and Melbourne and then ending in Sydney seeing more friends! Did we mention the good food and fantastic wine we will try as well? Or the camping out in the Outback under a ceiling of silver stars? Ot trekking in some of Tassie's mountains? No? So how about joinng us as we travel on the Pacific Ocean road between Adelaide and Melbourne?
South America(Nov to end Jan 09)
We are planning to see and do it all here. Learn Spanish through an immersion course, do some volunteering in Bariloche? Who knows. We do know that our time here will include the deserts, jungles, mountains and wide open spaces and the mighty rivers that criss cross these places!
After journeys and adventures around the world, we will head back to the Mud Isle before making some really BIG decisions like where to actually live after seeing so much!
Anything catch your eye? Tickle your imagination? Stoke your fires of adventure? Come join us. Drop us a line here and perhaps we can hook up along the way. There is always plenty of space on the road and the invitation is yours to take up! The more the merrier!
