Nothing much to report on Koh Samui as it's been a bit of a chill out place...Mainly because we all needed to recover from the Koh Tao pub crawl! The Island has also been pretty dead as the majority of backpackers have been on Koh Phangan for the full moon party. We decided against doing this after hearing bad reviews from most people who had been!
Yesterday was spent on Chewang beach...Another lovely beach. In the evening, after some grub, myself, Samuel and Si gathered in our huge double bed for a snuggle and watched Mickey Flanagan. A nice romantic night in!

Today we wanted to see a bit of the Island, and after being warned about being ripped off when renting scooters here, we opted for a tour. Not the best thing we've done but we got to see some good view points, a bit of culture, and a waterfall. The rest wasn't much to speak of! Oh apart from a mummified monk..very strange!! I think the highlight of Samuel's day was seeing a terrapin in the river around a temple.
We arrived back late afternoon and took a little stroll along the beach. We stopped for a couple of drinks in a nice bar and were reminded how lucky we are to be where we are! For dinner we found a street food court with an amazing BBQ stand. As it was so cheap we went to town of course!

Tomorrow we have a 5.30am start to head to Phi Phi. We are rather excited about this Island :)
