We had a lovely few more days in Canggu, it has definitely been one of our favourite areas in Bali so far!

On Friday we came to stay in Seminyak as we needed to extend our visas (which unfortunately isn't the easiest process) and the surf film festival was being held at the beach.
Our first day was pretty much spent trying to sort our visas but our evening was much better! We got to the beach for a sunset dinner and drinks before the brilliant surf films began on the big screen. The place was packed and it was a really cool atmosphere.

Saturday was spent at Seminyak beach, with a bit of surfing in the morning and nice long stroll to explore further North of the long stretch of sand.
We clearly did too much exercise that day as we were almost falling asleep by 8pm so we ended up giving the film festival a miss.

Sunday was spent back at our favourite beach, Padang Padang.
That evening we met up with Alex who had joined his sister and Sinead on their travels for a couple weeks. We introduced the three of them to the dangerous double doubles (double vodka red bulls that gave us a three day hangover last time we drank them... but we're on a budget and they're cheap!)
This soon escalated into a brilliant night out, it was great to meet up with them!

Once again we are paying for it today!
Not only that, our day got worse. We were supposed to be off to Ubud today but after waiting around for an hour we discovered our transport which we had already paid for wasn't turning up. This meant a lot of traipsing around before eventually realising we weren't going to get to Ubud today :(
But hey, we are hoping a yummy Indian will cure our hangovers tonight and tomorrow, fingers crossed, we will be off to Ubud tomorrow :)
