Well, I think I may have experienced my best day EVER EVER!!

I didn't start off too well as I woke up in a hungover haze and just about managed to pull myself out of bed to get down to the MCG to see my first ever live game of cricket with Jamie. Despite the splitting heading and lack of sleep I was totally in awe of the MCG, which is the biggest cricket stadium in the world! As you all probably know the actual cricket we played was rubbish (not that I know an awful lot about it all) - but the atmosphere was still great. The Barmy Army never seem to stop their chants, however bad we play.

After a morning of cricket I had to dash back to our hostel where we were picked up by the official neighbours tour bus (see thge pics). This in itself was enough to make my day. Our tour guide had the dvd (best bits) playing along with all the ex cast top hits playing. Not to mention unlimited free sweets, which meant we were all on a childish sugar high by the time we hit Erinsborough High and Ramsay Street. As the pic above shows, our star meet was Libby Kennedy. Granted she hasn't been in the programme for years - but it was still a very exciting moment. Managed to get 1 autograth signed for my Grandma, who is probably the biggest neighbours fan EVER!

After much excitement lookign at all the houses and taking one too many pics, I finally went back to the cricket for what was left of the days play. As it turned out, we were so rubbish that it actually all ended on the 3rd day (I was due to go to the 4th as well). Oh well!

Absolutely awesome day. Off to Sydeny tonight for some NYE fun x
