The Tongariro Crossing is an 18km trek through the national park of Tongariro. It consists of hiking up the devils stair case, which is the steepest walk ive ever seen, for about 2 hrs. By the end of this first mission, you end up at the base of Mt Doom (this the Volcanoes name in 'Lord of the Rings' but i cnt remeber its real name!). it takes 3hrs to get to the top and back and i wasn't brave enough to try the accend! its more than a 45 degree angle all the way ...

Sky diving! First thing i did in Taupo, before even checking into a hostel was a sky dive! a load of us from the bus went for it and we all chose the 15000ft! it was soo amazing abnd we were all totally blown away with the experience! i will deffinately do one again on my trip! well, we'll see after the bungy jumping!! In waitomo, a small townsville which there isn't a lot to do, we stayed for one day and one night! although waitomo is a small place with not much to do, the things that there are to do are really sweet! Arrived in Gisborne on New Years Eve and didnt have anywhere to stay! i stored my bag and s*** in a storage room at a hostel for $15 and went to the festival! From Auckland i travelled to the corimandel, where i only spend a night because i had to get down to gisbrone for the Rhthym and Vines festival.
