21st and 22nd May 2009 From Ko Tao we caught the night ferry back to Surat Thani from which we would head on to Krabi. The night ferry was an interesting experience. We were issued with a bed number upon boarding the boat, and on finding our small sleeping space we were hoping that the boat wouldn't be fully booked for the 8 hour journey. It was packed!! 16th - 20th May 2009 Following the stint with the girls in Ko Samui we headed back to Ko Phangan for one night. We got a room for 300 baht (we actually shared the room with another girl as there was a spare bed making for a cheap night) at the famed 'Crystal Bungalows' where we'd actually been the week before for an awesome pool party. 11th - 15th May 2009 On arrival we had to travel about 5 kms from a pier that I recognized when watching "The Beach" this morning (It has crooked branches for pillars) to Hat Chaweng where the girls were. 4th - 11th May 2009 Ko Phangan is a great place. We both loved it. Our bungalow (Venus) was a little hard to find as it was hidden away back from the beach with a great view from up high on the hill. The tuk tuk couldn't take us all the way there as the road was so rutted so we made our way there along the beach.
