Punta del Diablo. A beautiful fishing town where not much happens... Admittedly, we arrived a week after the busy season. So bars and restaurants weren't staying open so late. And shops were closed. We spent four nights in this beach town and we easily joined in with everyone else at the hostel and the routine they had created... It went like this... Sleep 3am - 9am Swim 9am - 9.30am Breakfast 9.30 - 11am Laze around the hostel 11 - 2pm Lunch 2pm Beach 2...

Everyone that we had met on our travels so far said that Montevideo was just a city and didn't have a lot to offer. Well. I would like to disagree. We had a fantastic time in Montevideo. Obviously, a big factor is the people you meet. We just spent a short time there, (only two nights). As we preferred to spend more time at the farm and are now on our way to Punta Del Diablo. Tacuarembo! By the time we actually arrived, it had been about 30 hours travelling by bus. But it was totally worth it. We were picked up from the bus stop in a large ute with two others. A French girl who has been living in South America for around two years. And a Canadian bloke who is travelling much like us. We got to the farm late Tuesday.
