Landed in London

Took the train to Shiphol Airport in Amsterdam and made it in time for my easyjet flight to London. I love the open seating boarding and how exciting it feels to walk on the tarmac and climb the stairs up to the plane. Took the bus from Luten London Airport to Victoria and the tube from there to Richmond where I met my friend Melissa! She and I walked from there to her gorgeous flat in Twickenham and relaxed a bit before heading out to Pitcher & Piano for a glass of wine and appetizer. We ordered Thai food for dinner and relaxed for the evening. I talked to my Gramma and had a long hot bubble bath before bed. How great to not use a locker for my belongings, but actually unpack. How great to not wear shower shoes, but to revel in some hot bubbles. How great, how great, how great!

Lessons learned: Today there were no wrong turns, no delays, or even travel frustrations. I think there are no real wrong turns in life either, but just some detours and frustrations. On with the journey!
