So today we checked into Pittwater YHA Hostel! Had to get the bus from Collaroy to Church Point and then a ferry to Halls. Its absolutely amazing! Its in the Middle of a National Park. Reasonably high up, with amazing views. Theres hammocks around everywhere, and no tv or music, just the sound of nature. Got a bus to Palm Beach. It's really nice, not as busy as manly. There are big fur trees all round and a lighthouse in the distance. Was really nice. Had loadsa alcohol in the evening a nd got well tipsy!

So today we emerged out of bed late, as usual. Took a stroll down Collaroy beach and then laid and watched the surfers. Got bored of that so we had a few beers. Bought some goon but the stuff is bloody horrible and doesn;t get you drunk, so I refuse to drink it ever again!

My first surf lesson! I suck at it! Was hoping I would transform drastically into a cool surfer chick! But no luck, I definately suck! However, I am going to keep trying and eventually maybe I will just be able to stand up! Went with Manly surf school. Manly is real nice, beach was REALLY busy though, but I'd rate it better than Bondi. Not as snobby, few more families with kids building sand castles.

Had a walk through the "famous" Paddy's markets. We tried this cold tea thats real popular everywhere here with the asian community. It was made with coconut milk, Pete and I weren't impressed! Decided sushi and a beer was needed from Sushiroll, real good yummy sushi. Tried one of their desserts, it was like a marshmellow berry lump, weird!
