Day 1 / 2 - Departed / arrived. It's been a long haul on the planes and surprisingly I haven't slept much and still been fairly awake. It seems these days I manage to function on little sleep plus it was a good chance to catch up on some movies. However I did watch Oddball which made me sad as I am already missing Tuls a lot.
The Qantas Airbus A330-200 was an amazing aircraft, it looked fairly new and was really clean. It was enormous and it seriously felt like it was never ending when walking up and down it. The amount of space was great - especially for the short people and the service was exceptional. No complaints at all from me! Can't wait to fly back with them.
So far it's all been smooth sailing and we have both meet some really friendly people who have given us lots of tips and advise. One tip unrelated to Central America is to get the game aa - saw a number of people playing it and so I was intrigued. Apparently very addictive - Ryan maybe you shouldn't look this one up! Apparently there are a number of versions too.
Also while I am recommending apps, if anyone is doing a big international trip in the future I recommend you use the app Tripcase - really great for putting in all your flights and bookings etc. It updates all flights in real time with terminal / gate changes or delays etc. Really easy to read and use. Meant we didn't have to pull out our tickets or have to hang onto them.
Anyhow enough chit chat, time to sign off to catch up on some much needed sleep horizontally!
PS I apologize in advance for my terrible writing and grammer, it's never really been an area I have excelled in.
