Although we were scheduled to arrive in Bangkok shortly after 6am, in reality it turned out to be nearly 9am. Our flight to Australia was at 6.30 that evening so we only had a few hours to kill before we needed to be at the airport - which flew! We spent at least an hour and a half looking for a hostel on the Khao San road with Dan and Stu, during which time we also found a medical centre for travellers where Dan could get his next jab (that day) which was good because it meant that he didn't have to find a hospital! When we found a hostel we went and put our bags in so we could do some last minute shopping - hectic! Then we showered in their room and left to get our cab to the airport. It was really quite sad saying goodbye, even though we knew we would see them again in Australia because we'd got so used to spending all of our time with them and we knew that even though we would be seeing them in Oz it wasn't going to be the same!
