Good morning, mates. We're up bright and early this morning and after such a great meal last evening. Decided to have a look around before we head out. Coff's Harbour has a great protected anchorage, marina, yacht club, beach and jetty (like St. Andrews). This shot was taken at the end of the jetty. There were kids jumping off it and lots of people fishing. What a great place to keep your boat.

This is Maria waiting outside the Tourist Board in the rain waiting for it to open at 9:00. We need to buy a map as the old one seems to have disappeared (probably got hit by lightning the other night) and don't know where we're going today. (no snickering laughs, please). It's déjà vu all over again.

"The best laid plans of mice and men gang aft agley." Well we were all prepared to stay here another day and woke up to this. RAIN!!!!! Got the forecast and decided to move on. Rain all day, sometimes heavy.

After walking the beach and in the pool again, and a few coolies, we found this little Mexican restaurant just up the street. It wasn't licensed, but as luck would have it, there was a bottle store two doors up. We had quesadillas and Del and Maria had fajitas. They were simply the best I ever had. The restaurant was so busy and just one girl serving. What a great meal. What started out as a poor beginning of a day turned out to be one of the best we had. Ah, ...
