Today started as just a great day and then got better. We had a super breakfast that Basil and Sybil put on then we went mountain climbing.
I really must say that today I walked and hiked and climbed more that I have ever in the past 30 years. Yes, I was out of breath several times but It was exhilarating to be out in the sun seeing all the splendours of the Blue Mountains. Today started rather cool at 24 degrees and we had to wear jackets, but these were soon shredded after our first hike over to the three sisters.
The Blue Mountains is similar to the Grand Canyon, except it is green and has rain forests. It is almost entirely made of sandstone which erodes very quickly.
