First day on the road! We are headed to DC so pile all our stuff in the van and make our way to our first stop - Philadelphia. We saw the Liberty Bell and independence hall which was nice and then visited a local market - the oldest in Philadelphia which was basically this big indoor food market. We searched for Philly cheesesteaks for lunch so at least we could try them! A few of us had one and it was sooo nice. Basically beef steak cut in half so that cheese can go in the middle then all sliced up. I also added mushrooms to mine. Then it's all put in a big bit of soft French bread. Would definitely have one again!
