The flight to Auckland wasn't too bad, though it was a much older plane than our first and everything rattled a lot, San managed to first spill a beer over me and then ten minutes later herself so we were both wet and smelling of beer for the entire flight which obviously helped!! We got into the city and checked into the Jucy hostel and went for a walk up by the harbour and had something to eat before promptly falling asleep for ten hours. We've spent a couple of days doing boring things, sorting out bank account and getting phone up and running. (our NZ number is 0064-2102273586) We went out for a few drinks down by water with some guys from the hostel last night which was good, but made our ten o clock meeting with the bank today very difficult. We move into our studio apartment tomorrow for San's birthday and have booked to go whale, penguin and dolphin watching on a five hour boat trip the day after. Auckland is really nice and the weather seems to be constantly changing, it can be raining one minute and sunny and bright the next.
