On our second from last day we got up and went to Zoo Negra which was about half an hour outside of KL and the weather was beautiful and really hot. We saw loads of monkeys who kept sticking their hands out of the cages to get some food and you could feed the elephants although one thought that Jeff's shoulder was a banana and had a bit of a sniff. There was an animal show with seals, weird giant gerbil things and flamingos doing tricks but after half an hour sat in the sun we had to miss the end of it. We had a final meal out in China Town and then went back to the hostel. One our last day went back to the Central Market to get a massage before the flight and I think they must teach the masseuses that if it doesn't hurt then you're not doing it right because mine was really painful, after about 15 minutes she settled down a bit but my shoulder was hurting for days afterwards! There was a huge storm just before we were going to leave for the airport with massive thunder and lightning and KL flooded almost instantly for an hour then was completely fry again. There was a rainforest walk at the airport with a waterfall so we hung out there for a bit to get our last blast of heat before heading into winter.
