Travels
Today we visited the market in Christchurch. Stan couldn't help himself and had to purchase bird seed for the birds and Mum and Dave's place - even though mum said they had heaps already.
Down to the Quay where we were surrounded by scavenging swans!!
We enjoyed the history of the Priory and the ancient ruins.
Lunch in Ye Olde George Inn was great. The place is so old - been there for 600 years!! It has underground passages to the old ruins that were used by smugglers in ye olde days.
Later we visited Mudeford and Avon Beach. This is where there was a little ferry across to the beachy spit and headland called Hengistbury Head where all the fishing pots were.
