This was an awesome day. After the disappointment of the tour around the island was not running, we settled for a ride to the bay we rode to yesterday. Today we were well prepared. Food, drinks and most importantly snorkeling gear!!! No one was more prepared than Steve....How many gadgets can one man carry? Later in the day I was very grateful for his organisation - he had the bottle opener.

Luckily the sister and I have similar tastes in many things, and she organised some beer. The husband thought I'd prefer a mixer drink. Hard day riding, snorkeling and sitting by the ocean.... Beer was more suited to the day.

The ride was much easier the second time. I knew what to expect. Not that my saddle bum had recovered. The snorkeling was amazing!!! The water was so warm and clear. It was warmer in the water as it was hard to believe, but Accweather said the maximum on Rotto was on 16 degrees. There were fish everywhere. I ever convinced Steph to have a go.

Back home we had a BBQ for dinner and played 500. They were lots of drinks and 6 people staying in 1 cabin.
