We camped at a cute spot in Huanchacho also right on the beach. In the morning we explored the food markets with Beth, stocking up for the 3 days from the friendly locals. Later we checked out the recommended 'chocolate' cafe, enjoying the delicious brownie and other sweet treats. I (Aimee) attempted surfing in the afternoon ending in a lot of bruises and not too much success :)

After a huge travel day crossing into Peru we had 3 nights at a crazy party hostel called Loki right on the beach. With 3 different cocktails in slushy machines and 2 happy hours a day we had some big nights and lazy days in Mancora. The first night we entered a huge beerpong comp and the second night too many 'flip cup' races. The beach was lovely, enjoying relaxing days in the sun watching birds we had seen on Galápagos.
