In the afternoon we bid goodbye to Colombia (a weird feeling after 3 weeks there) and flew with Tame to Quito, Ecuador. Somehow we managed to get upgraded to premium economy with a row to ourselves on the airplane :). The views flying into Quito were stunning, seeing the surrounding mountains poking out from the clouds and a colourful sunset over the hills coming into a turbulent landing. We had a quick stopover at a place near the airport, unfortunately not getting enough time to enjoy the water slide or the company of the 4 fluffy dogs living there.
