Back in our wellies/gumboots we went for a long walk through the jungle with Enrique and his translator. Firstly they painted our faces with a natural berry and tied plants around our head complete with a nose covering! Along the 3 hour walk they stopped to show is different plants and explain their medicinal uses. They showed us how to make a loud noise by hitting a huge hollow tree and how to set traps to catch small animals and birds. Currently they receive government funding to conserve the surrounding jungle. We had a chilled afternoon and the cute local children put on a traditional dance demonstration.
