20:30 - The first part of the trip back it's over :-). It seemed interminable today...I'm in Fortaleza and in the morning a fly to Rio and from there into London!

18:00 - I left Salvador late this morning. The lady with the driver taking me to the airport was chatty. She's from Salvador but lived in Italy in Salerno for 13 years. She was married to an Italian from there. After the divorce she decided to come back home with her two girls. The flight itself was uneventful and luckily I managed to load two bags in the hold as my luggage has grown somewhat. Tomorrow morning I will get picked up for the bus ride to Jericoacoara...
