My last day was spent touring the Panama Canal. It stands as one of the world's greatest feats of engineering. It was amazing to see such a historic achievement. I spent my fifth day relaxing on Playa Las Lajas beach. It is an amazing beach that extends about eight miles along the Gulf of Chiriqui. Today I visited the Pearl Islands. I rented a sailboat from one of the natives and he took me on a cruise around the island. It was incredible we sailed for so long and not once was I bored. Sendero Los Quetzales near the small town of Cerro Punto. It is considered one of Panama's most beautiful trails. It is about 5 miles long and the sites along the path are incredible.
