I got a shuttle bus from Hollywood to San Francisco which took 8.5 hours. About two minutes after getting off the bus and waiting to check in, Lawrence and Zoey who I was with at the hollywood hostel where there. We did not no we would be there at the same time as they had been to Vegas, so it was really good to see them. We had a few drinks that night and just chilled as we were going to do some sight seeing the next day. The hostel was really good. It had a cinema room with a massive screen and cinema seats, so I played some Pro Evolution on the playstation ha.
The next day we went the golden gate bridge which was f***ing massive and amazing and then got a bus back which did not go back as close to the hostel as we thought it would. San Francisco is known to be a beautiful place, but what alot of people dont no it also has some really rough, poor areas and thats where we got off the bus. I was so pissed off.
It was full of homeless people and tramps and dodgy looking people. They walk around the streets with trolleys with quilts and food boxes and plasma screen tv's haha only messing about the tv. They walk up to you really fast and dont ask for money they demand it and if you look at them they follow you for ages. This one black guy must have followed us for about five minutes ha. We decided to get drunk that night, and it was my first time on vodka in months so I was completely f***ed. I went to sit outside, and two black guys were walking by and stopped to ask for a dollar. I gave him one as he was really sound. Next thing he started belting out "sitting on the dock of the bay" s*** load and he was f***in class whilst the other guy was clapping and dancing! was quality.
We were online trying to book Alkatraz the next day. Me, Zoey, and Hoda form Denmark who was also in our room forgot we had booked it the night before but we were too smashed to remember so we left later on in the day!!
I was looking forward to it s*** loads because of the film The Rock and the two girls had not even seen it, I could not believe it haha its such a good film to be fair. It was amazing walking around and I was amazed that Al Capone had been in there. He was put in the hole quite alot for beating people up as he was a tough street fighter. It was so intersting to look around. There had been quite a few jail attempts, and if you do attempt to escape and fail, you have to wear a s*** heavy ball and chain around your ankle for the next three months. What a f***ing nightmare. You would be so gutted ha still funny.
Three people did escape, and there bodies were never found. Some people do not think its possible they survived because of the water, and some people believe they made. If they did they are f***ing legends because that is a s*** long way to swim.
I checked out the next morning at 10am and Yoda said it was ok to go back on the bed I was on even though I handed in my sheets and checked out. I ended up staying there untill 10pm ha.
