After a relaxing beach week in Byron Bay we thought what would be better than another relaxing beach week in Noosa. This gorgeous little beach town is further up the coast and slightly warmer. Again it was the tent for us as the funds still slipping away at an alarming rate in Oz. We couldn't have asked for a nicer campsite though, you opened the tent doors in the morning to a beautiful lake with its own little beach and resident pelicans. Without the mattrass we managed to aquire at the last campsite, the floor was pretty hard though so we bought a box of wine to help us nod off at night :-) Noosa was loads of fun, we did a trek through the national park and ended up on a nudest beach, oops then hired a scooter for two days which we drove all round the area, about 65k's, the best bit was when the tank ran out we filled it up for $4 (less than 2 pounds)!! We also hired a kayak and explored some of the waterways, Jonny and I both had paddles but to be honest it was more of a two wheel drive kayak than four as I found it pretty hard work (Jonny was the engine)!
