We travelled up from Chiang Mai to a place called Tha Ton, tourist mecca of Northern Thailand!! We are staying at a great place called Thips Guest House, run by a lady who speaks all manner of languages!! Very good banana pancakes fed very starving bellies and made for a delicious start to the afternoon. Two days in Ayuthaya has left us a little weary-eyed. We saw a lot of temples, we hired a man and his tuk-tuk for the day yesterday, and never before have I been so sunburnt!! Good day though, a 'romantic' breakfast of toast the size of 4 fifty-cent coins left us a little hungry!!
