This morning Aileen dropped Neil and Andy to Ticknock woods to walk the main section of our Wicklow Way hike. It took us 9 1/2 hours and we walked 35 km and arrived at Roundwood feeling very very exhausted. Now looking forward to a good dinner steak and chips and a pint of Guinness. Neil hoping that Man Utd win the cup. Nice pub in Roundwood. Amazing mountains and views. Neil wanted to walk up Djouce but I didn't gave the inclination. Tomorrow a shorter walk and ...

Once again Neil and Andy are off trekking. This time it's the Wicklow way in Ireland. The Wicklow way is a man made trail. Approximately 132 kilometres running from Marley Park to the town if Clonegal in County Carlow. As before though where only a portion if the Offas Dyke was trekked, we will be walking a portion of the wonderful trail from the Ticknock forest and Three Rock Mountain to a lovely valley area known as Glen Malure.See how we get on.

This is 'Lug'. The view we will see as we descend the hill at the end of our walk. This huge mountain can be seen towering over the Glenmalure valley.

This is so exciting our prop plane. Noisy I expect. I wonder if Barack and HRM will still be in Dublin.
