Above the upper lake. The walk up hill was more like a race as we paced out and pushed hard uphill. After this we reached a wooden bridge which we used to cross the river.

The Wicklow Way, Ireland
Having climbed high above the lakes and onto the Spink boardwalk we headed up onto the moor and Lugduff mountain at 657m. Here we hoped we could head south then east where we could re-join the Wicklow Way as it snakes southwards.
