Today I felt a little bit sad about being alone, but I still go on. It was a nice route along the Loire with some rain, wind and sun. After 60,3 km I reached Benoît and Michelle in Anetz. Their children gave a 'spectak' with a couple dances on popular songs, that was fun.

Today started with a very strong wind of 100 km p/h! It was difficult to cycle against that, but luckily I was cycling along a path in between a cliff and the Loire, that kept most of the wind away. When I arrived in Nantes, I visited the big mechanic Elephant. Unfortunately it was not walking around because of the wind, so I cycled to Charles (51,5 km), who had made a delicious fruitcake.

This morning Charles had made some galettes and after a shower I cycled to Saint-Nazaire. Luckily the wind was a lot less as yesterday and I reached the end of the Loire and the Atlantic Coast. After 78,5 km I arrived at the house of Hervé and Martine.

After a good breakfast with homemade bread I crossed the 2,5 km long bridge of Saint-Nazaire and started my route along euro velo 1. It was drizzling almost the whole day, but I made it to the house of Julien (63,5 km). There was nobody at home, but the door was unlocked. After a shower we ate some galettes filled with ham, cream, cheese and mushrooms.

This day started with a little bit of sun and actually became only better the rest of the day. That was very nice after all the sad, rainy days. And I almost drove over a salamander, that was sunbathing on the asphalt. After 59,2 km I reached Mouilleron le Captif and Dominique, Yannick and their kids and we ate galettes again :p.

This morning I visited La Roche sur Yon with the mechanic animals on the Place Napoleon. I also cleaned my bike a little bit.
