The second day I cycled 93,3 km together with Daan through Spijkenisse to 's-Gravenmoer. The wind was very tough, but we finally made it and had a very nice dinner.

14 February 2017

Today was the first day on my own. The wind was less strong and even the sun shined. I cycled 50 km and crossed the border with Belgium. Using it Bels Laantje I arrived surprisingly early in Turnhout. When Petra (the Couchsurfing host) arrived at home we went to the local Japanese and ate sushi.

15 February 2017

In the morning I left Turnhout to go to Rotselaar. The weather was lovely and I even saw a squirrel cross the road on the Oude Mechelse Baan. When I arrived in Rotselaar, my Couchsurfing host still hadn't left a reaction, so I had to find another place to sleep. I cycled further to Leuven, where I asked a women, who was walking down the street, if she had a place to sleep. And she did! After she got her kids home we ate fries with hamburger and spinach, because that's what you do when you're in Belgium. After everything I cycled 72,4 km today.

Today I won't go cycling to give my legs some rest. I walked a little bit through Leuven and even got the key to the house of Dominique, so I don't needed to walk around all day.
