In the morning Pascal cycled with me to the centre of Orléans, where I posted some postcards and visited the house of Jeanne d'Arc. On advise of Pascal I started my route along the river Loire. It really is a beautiful river! If you don't count the downpour when I got back from the supermarket, it actually was a nice day :D. I cycled 76,6 km to Florence in Blois.

I can be very short about this day: rain. The whole day. I was even thinking about taking the train, but luckily I reached Tours. After 74,3 km I arrived at Maxime's house and cooked a very nice risotto with broccoli.

What a difference in comparison to yesterday! When I woke up there was this lovely blue sky and some sun. Very nice. And I think I have found the spot where no supermarket is nearby. I was cycling along the Loire and there came a side river, but there was no bridge an the GPS tried to send me over a train track... So I had to cycle about 5 km along the other river, when there finally appeared a bridge and at the other side was a bakery :D.
Later, when I arrived at Le Néman, Mélodie joined me and together we cycled to her house in Bourgueil. Mélodie also showed me a very nice site, where you can see the places I have slept (ruala.travelmap .net). Later Pierre asked me how far I already cycled (today 69,9 km), and to my surprise it was already 1030 km!

Today was a very good day. I followed the route Pierre told me to take and it seemed to be a little bit of the hill and I had some wind on my back. In the afternoon it even became this warn that I could cycle without my jacket! After a fast 80,2 km I arrived at Patrick's house in Angers and we made a visit to his father, who is living in the same street. After dinner Dominique (a friend of Patrick) picked us up with his car and we went to a mediatheek in a town nearby to watch 'The Imitation Game'. They started to play it in French (and didn't understand anything), but since they had said it would be in the original version, we luckily saw it in English.

This morning I went with Patrick to the castle of Angers. It was very strange to cycle without the bags, but I got used to it very fast. In the castle we had an audio tour who told us about the origin of the castle and we also saw a tapestry. It was a little bit difficult to understand, but still interesting. In the afternoon we went to the field at the end of the street, where this neighbourhood will grow it's own vegetables and fruit, to plant 200 trees. And in the evening we went to an Italian restaurant with Patrick's dad and I ate a nice pizza Calzone.
