Everybody slept some, but we also woke up a lot. Boychild and I woke up for good before everyone else, and we walked down to the boulangerie down the street, and bought some croissants and pain chocolat. Well, we didn't exactly take off on time. There were two problems with the plane: one in the toilet and one underneath. We were more than forty-five minutes late taking off. The pilot was able to make up some of the time, so we were able to haul our butts through the DC airport and barely make our connection... or so we thought.
