Travelling from Vegas to Williams in Arizona... 4.5 hours of travel through desert and desolation. We did drive past Hoover dam which is at its lowest point ever thanks to the widespread drought. Apart from the travelling, today is a rest day- sleep in, then breakfast at the buffet and check out at 11am. One last drive up and down the Vegas strip then drive out to Williams. We have been in Las Vegas for 2 nights staying at the Paris hotel. If you didn't want to leave the hotel/ casino you wouldn't have to- it's like a little city all by itself - even the ceiling is painted to look like the sky so you don't feel like you are missing the outdoors (I am enjoying the blatant psychology of gambling and people watching!)
