Early came very early... I got up about 2:00am and couldnt go back to sleep... Got to the airport in plenty of time and checked in with no issues, althougb there seemed to be a bunch of idiots who couldnt figure things out for going thrugh the scanner, one guy found that he didnt just have one pocket but had two pockets in the front of his jeans. Our flight was so short and as soon as we reached cruising altitudue the pilot announced we would be starting our descent... Once we arrived there was the driver sent by our villa to pick us up and take us there... Then a guy came and carried our bags down for us.. As it was 715ish they werent open yet as well our room wasnt ready, but angela was on the phone with me welcoming us and asking what we wanted to do ( sit by the pool ang Gazzie would bring us whatever we wanted, or walk to fira for some breaky, which Gazzie would show us the way) we opted for breaky and started off,... We decided to walk out to the scada(?) first on our way ... This was the original capital of Santorini built way out on this little hill.... On our way out a stray dog befriended us ... Nat named her Santi, snd she litterally followed us around for the next 3 hours, she would even walk ahead and then turn and wait for us to make sure we were coming... I then helped her when a stray pack of dogs started to bark and intimidate her, she hid behind me while i yelled them away ( nat was behind Santi i think) once we walked out and back we continued along the little path adorned with little villas unitl we reached a little breakfast spot in firostefani... It was really good and Santi actually just layed down beside us while we ate ( and she did too as nat ordered her ham and cheese sandwhich). Once done with breakfast we started to head back towards our place in Imerovigli with Santi in tow, she actually left some food that she was eating to make sure she didnt lose us. We stopped into a little store and when Santi didnt see us come out for a few minutes she stuck her head in looking and then proceeded to go inside till she foud us.
That afternoon, we met up with Dom and Lisa at their accomodation. From there Dom and I drove on his quad to get me one for Nat and I. This was the best decision in Santorini as you can now access the whole island easily. Then Lisas friends Jess and her boyfriend Pete, and Lara (who we saw in Paris) and her boyfriend Florien (not sure how to spell it) came to meet us and we all went on our quads to Perissa beach.
The beach was all black and the sand was burn your feet temperature. After a little time in the water we went for a drink at a place called Taj Mahal and laid in the day beds, had a few beers and smoked our cherry banana flavoured hooka.
We went for dinner in Firostfani at this little place and it was good as well as not too expensive that I was expecting in Santorini. After dinner we went to a club in Fira and got a private booth (you just had to buy a bottle of booze for 80EU, drinks alone were 10 so why not) they bring youout all the mix you want as well as fresh fruit platters. After the first bottle Nat and i left cause, well we had been up for almost 24 hours and we were quite drunk too.
Sun Aug 9
Today we woke up around noon with a little hangover. We planned to just go to Dom and Lisas for some relaxing around the pool and some snacks.
That night went for dinner in Firostefani again at this great little place. Halfway through dinner the power went out but that made the atmosphere nice as there was already candles all around. When the power came on we expected the chef to be doing something sinister in the window of the kitchen that you could look through from the dinning room and Dom Nat and I had a huge laugh about that. Nat and I called it an early night as we were still pretty tired.

The rest of the gang went out to the Volcano on a boat and Nat and I decided that we would just have a day to ourselves and drive around on the Quad. We woke up and ordered breakfast in, whcih they brought up to our balcomy at the requested time. After breakfast we drove out to Oia which was pretty cool and then down to this little port below Oia called Ammudi, for a drink and some Fava beens. We drove around a bit and then went back to our place to relax on our amazing patio. That evening Dom and Lisa came by to have a drink and watch the sunset before we met up with the rest for dinner at the same place as the first night.
Tuesday
The rest of the gang had left and we werent flying out until 8 so we had another ful day to explore the island. We drove to Kimachi beach and had some breakfast and then we went up the steep winding road to ancient Thira. It was so unbelievably windy up there that if it wasnt tied down it was gone.
In the afternoon we hung around our pool a bit and then got driven back to the airport for our flight back to Athens....depression started to sink in.
