Ok.....Let the journey begin.

A brief reflection until now;

Went to sydney on 21*st to chill out ....so glag i did because i was so rush to get all my cash and travellers checks hooked up. I can't believe how much 100 $ is in Taiwan $ I could hardly close my wallet.

I managed to make it to the airport on time and even got my seat changed to a window seat. Score kss kss. Planes are awesome i could tottally get back on it right now. Few scotches to calm you down some random interesting food and as many movies as you can watch.... not to mention the view. (f***ing amazing)..... On that note everyone has to watch clubland! It is an aussie film like the castle.... beautiful movie... i can imagine simon doing something like it. :D

The second retrospective point I will make in this ramble is the view of Taiwan.....and everything else! I got my first glimpses of the RED CENTRE of OZ as we flew ovewr it. THere is just nothing out there. And it is red. LOL. Then crossing the golf of carpentaria (north oz - near dawin) there was this cloud base with towering plums of cloud everywhere. Just like that crazy day in Newi. if you remember those clouds i was stoked on. If i believed in heaven that is how i would imagine it to be. On with the flight...the best is yet to come. Making land at the base of Taiwan was magnificent. Lights as farr as the eye could see..... and it continued all the way to Taipei .......I just sat and watched for about 40mins ... listening to some beatles music on the headphones.

Upon arrival i scored a lift from another aussie guy who had payed like 40 $ for a taxi. Stupid. But that made me feel fine scoring a lift. Unfortunately the driver had not much of an idea...but i got dropped in Taipei city. I stumbled around for a bit and found my hostel. On the 13th floor of a non-discript biulding. But the A4 sign they had provided sure was handy. LOL.

Got my shiat sorted and met 2 randoms. 1 Korean 1 Japanese. Both had quite a good command of the english language. Whn i expressed my want to drink a bee-a they took a liking to me. We trekked around the city for a while which was to be honest just so different. Turns out we are in the older sector of town near the cop chop so there is not much going on.

Went to 711 and scored 440ml beers for less than a dollar Au each....for singles too. After this i had my first experience wit ordering food......

So you are not meant to eat food that is sitting around or produce that has already been cut. Figured fk it .....why not hey guys? So i at a slice of cut apple and got some noodles and tofu that was defo doggy. Turns out i told the lady to cook noodles in a pan that you do not fry. She obliged and the asian boys found it hilarious.

Drunk on til 1 am with the boys ... chatting about life ...... they were fair maggs for what they had. Like 1-2 cans ...... :) Then we went our separate ways to bed .....turns out as we approached the room we were actually roomies lol. Life is funny sometimes.

OK and thats it till now. Eating a doughnut and drinking a coffee and neither of them taste like they should. The asian boys hooked me up with 1 millions things to do and eat today so i better get to it ..... first stop the ocean.

Also for clarrification if i sound like a tool (cause i feel like one). I am doing this so i can print it when i get home. Also am writing it to myself as well as everyone.
