12/12 - Pakse -> Si Phan Don

Today I headed for Si Phan Don (The Four Thousand Islands) it is an area where the mekong forms a delta as an area where the mekong forms a delta as is crosses into cambodia. During the wet season the detla spreads out to a width of 14 km covering most of the islands. As the river subsides the islands are uncovered. There really are alot of the islands.

Spent the day here relaxing. That is all you can do here. There is no power on the Don Det island where i stayed so you are pretty much forced to chill. It is a great place that i would definately go back to. Relaxing to the max and bungalows on the river for 1$.
