The adventure continued in the Ngorongoro crater and ended up in one of the best campsite i have ever seen, located right on the ridge of the crater hole! After one night in which it took me 50 minutes just to make one step in front of the tent and have a pee, because i was soooo scared of the bushpigs eating grass around my tent- we got back to Arusha where i met Alessia & family! It was a really pleasant surprise and i had a really nice time with them! I had to sneak in the lodge and eat for free at the buffet, which was really fun!!we even spent some time with the owner of that place and he didn't even notice me! The next day i took a flight to zanzibar after i have done some nice shopping for me and you guys!:) i flew with a really small plane, some sort of private jet and i saw Kili looking over the clouds!
So here i am... In Zanzibar!
Laying on the white sandy beach of Kendwa which i consider to be a really relaxed location, and thinking back of what there has been going on in the last few days:
Well, Stone Town, the main city on the island is a typical islamic location with narrow streets, like a maze, women with covered up faces and EYES, men looking at us, trying to sell us everything possible and impossible! I felt really bad to wear just a top and some shorts, because this place was more for the locals, not for the tourists. 3 nights there, was fun, had some drinks with the local rastafarians, at the local bars! Nice experience. The funniest part was that on the island there was no electricity, so everything was completly dark, the AC and fans didn't work, so we were sweating our ass off and had " candle-light beer". At 7pm every evening, the locals from Stone Town meet in the gardens by the sea and cook amazing food. Everybody, tourists and locals come here to have a talk, eat and meet eachother.
