Hiii everybody!

Lots to report since the last update (which must have been about 2 weeks ago now!)

Had 2 incredible trips since we left Cairns and i could go on about them both for the rest of the day but it's far too nice outside to be sat in this internet cafe so i'll be brief as usual.

The first trip was out to the Whitsunday Island on a 76 foot scooner (wooden boat thing) for 2 days and 2 nights sleeping on the Great Barrier Reef. there was lots of snorkling, lots and lots of drinking and quite a lot of sea sickness from "some" people.

The second trip was quite possibly the best thing any of us have ever done! 3 days and 2 nights on the worlds biggest sand island driving across beaches and through jungles in a massive 4x4 truck. we had an afternoon swimming in the clearest lake you could imaging surrounded by white sandy beaches and tropical rainforest. then there was a quick stop for some sunset pictures at a big ship wreck on the beach before we set up our tents at an aboriginal camp and drank the evening away.

the following morning we went swimming in a giant rock pool where the waves were crashing in next to us and filling the pool with fizzy water giving it the name "Shampagne Pools". after lunch on the beach we went for a drift down a freshwater creek that lead down to the sea before setting up camp right by the beach and watched the sand turn pink as the sun set.
