It's been a while but we're back and this time there's even pictures!!!

I've finally found somewhere to upload pics at a resonable speed so there's loads from the East Coast of Australia for you to look at now...if anyone's still out there!?

It's been a busy couple of weeks since we got to New Zealand and there's loads of things to tell you about so i won't bore you with too much detail about every last thing we've done. Here's a brief update of what's been going on...

Spent some time in Christchurch wandering through through the hills in the rain; a nice town but a bit too much like home for my liking!

Bought ourselves a van the get us around the country for the next few months. It's quite small but the 3 of us fit quite snuggly into the back at night and the close proximity helps keep us nice and warm!

Spent a couple of nights at lake Tekapo where there at hot outdoor spa pools that you can sit in at night and watch the stars above in the clearest skys in the Southern Hemisphere!

Did some walking around Mt Cook (The hights mountain in New Zealand) and saw a huge glacial lake covered in ice. The drive down to Mt Cook was the most amazing drive i've ever done and it was hard to keep an eye on the road with such incredible scenery surrounding us!

Took a road trip down to Queenstown (where we are at the moment) with our convoy partners Heather & Paul, stopping at various stunning sights on the way. Loads of the places we've been to were used for backdrops in The Lord of the Rings so when i get the latest NZ pics up you might recognise some of it.

Took a trip down to Milford Sound (via Te Anau) where we had a cruise around the glacial fjords and saw dolphins and waterfalls all around us.

Back at Queenstown and we all decided to do a bungee jump! A 134m high bungee jump!! I've never been so terrified in my life but i'm really glad i did it. Have a look on youtube for "Nevis Highwire Bungy" if you want to see just how high it was.

So that just about covers everything i think. I'll try to get some of the bungee pics on asap and the amazing sights we've seen in the last couple of weeks.
