Hi All! Well - a lot to write an not much time to write it.
First of all the train to get from Xian to Chengdu was an experience to say the least...
Compared to the train we got previously from Beijing to Cheng Du this one was totally 3rd world. We got through the night but it really was a totally new thing compared to the trains in the UK (although to be fair we travelled for 14 hours for the cost of around 10 quid so its not exactly like we expected first class).
We spent the day after we arrived (today) going to a panda reservation which was pretty cool an then in the afternoon to a rain-foresty area to see a giant buddha carved out of the cliff face that stands 71(ish) meters high! Apparently it took 90 years to build too.
The climate difference from here to what Beijing was is insane. The air is nice but really humid. Other than that not much to report - we will try to get more photos on www.magicalmule.com/dave
C u guys later!
