Left the farm this morning regretting that we had not put on insect repellent last night as have been bitten on legs and ankles. We drove along the remainder of the Great Ocean Road to Warrnambool to visit the maritime museum and village. This was the first time ever I got a senior citizen discount, makes me feel old! Maybe liking museums is a first sign? It was a fascinating insight into life over the last couple of hundred years with clips from men and women who had worked the coastal ketches used to transport goods and to help unload the square riggers who had arrived mostly from England. They also recreated the village shops and trades as of a hundred and fifty years ago. We then went on to Port Fairy a picturesque port further west. I have now visited Port Sunlight and Port Fairy, what next Port Dove?
After a walk around the nearby bird sanctuary island we had dinner in a Turkish restaurant.
