We arrived in Noosa with our two Islington friends at around midday after a small 3hr trip from Rainbow beach. We had already booked our accommodation so we got our courtesy mini bus to our hostel which was only a 2 minute drive away. We were soon in our room and we noticed that everyone was in bed, so we asked why and found out everyone had either a stomach bug or flu. So we walked back up to reception and asked politely to move rooms, we do not want any more sickness or injuries while away on this trip. Thankfully they had spare beds in another room so we switched. For the rest of the day we organised the remaining time in Australia on the internet by booking buses, accommodation and activities. That night we went to the bar and danced the night away with fellow travellers and had a good laugh.
The following morning we rose early as we were heading to Australia Zoo (Steve Irwin's Zoo). We caught a bus which took an hour. As soon as we got there we went exploring, there were lizards, otters, snakes, dingos, wombats, birds, kangaroos, koala's, elephants, tigers, emu's, crocodiles etc. We got to feed some kangaroos which was wicked, there so relaxed around people it's a bit strange. After the feeding frenzy we got a seat in the crocoseum which is a small stadium were they do crocodile shows, and to our surprise the whole Irwin family came out and did the show. We think it was down to it being the Easter holidays so the kids weren't at school, but still it was a great show. After a long day at the zoo we went back to our hostel and had a little nap as we were shattered. Bunch of lightweights we are! We soon woke up and had some dinner which consisted of tuna and bread, it was the worst dinner we have had since we started out travels. We then went up to the bar where a live band were playing and chilled out due to us having to be up early for our next bus south J
