Right now we are free camping near Dimboola with about 600km to go to get home tomorrow. Unfortunately it is pretty close to the highway so hopefully we will be able to get some sleep before we continue on to home in the morning.

After Nurioopta we then headed to Hahndorf for another look at this town of German origin. We stayed at the Mt Barker Caravan Park for one night which gave us all afternoon to have a walk around Hahndorf and a late lunch and what a lunch it was. We ordered a hot dog consisting of Knackwurst longer than the roll, bread roll, large roll at least 6 inches long, melted cheese, thick bacon, seeded mustard, tomato sauce, sauerkraut and chips. We are on our way home now after spending three nights at Nuriootpa once again

The drive here was quite enjoyable. The roads were fairly narrow, but not much traffic and everybody waves as they go by too (not just other caravanners) which was quite nice. The towns we passed through were very neat and clean. We stopped at Minlaton for a cuppa. A lady stopped and said hello and welcome, the postie doing his rounds said hello and welcome. After Nuriootpa we moved on to Moonta bay on the Yorke Peninsula. The first thing we noticed was the drop in temperature as we were on the coast. They have also suffered from the effects of the massive storm parts of SA had last year and they are still recovering, but they have done a pretty good job and nothing could spoil the great view of Spencer Gulf we have from our caravan.
