I did well last night, didn't sleep until 9pm, wanted to get into a normal routine. Then awake at 4am! I watched the sunrise over the snow covered alps, so still and clear. Not a cloud in sight, no mist hanging around the mountains. It was a nice quiet moment alone just looking at the mountains and the lush greenery, listening the birds chirping and faint cow bells in the distance. I even saw a badger come up the path and go around the back of the house. Apparent...

The flight from Singapore to Zurich is finally over! 13 hours, but I did sleep a little. The lady next to me was not interested in being friendly, oh well! The world really does loom amazing from about. I saw a thunderstorm, lightening flashing inside the clouds, looked surreal! And the sunrise, a bright red sun coming up, beautiful. The colours of the sunrise and sunset make a beautiful rainbow! My favourite thing to see! The descent into Switzerland was breath...

Singapore: well not much to tell really. It's dark and hot out there. You need to catch a sky train to the next terminal so this place must be huge! There was a lovely garden in the airport that was like a fairy land! And I must say, very impressed with Singapore airlines! Lovely staff, great service, pretty good food. 8 hours just flew by. It did help sitting next to some lovely ladies Birdy (I think?!?) and Jess, off on a Euro adventure as well, beginning in Pa...

The countdown is on! 4th of July, date of departure! Coincidently Independence Day, which is extremely fitting. Time for me to experience true freedom for the first time in my life!! Ok so I think I jinxed myself! What did I do? Get on the wrong train that's what! Luckily some other passengers noticed my ticket and let me know I was heading to the wrong place.
