Hello,

Spent a night in Hanoi with the two aussie guys, which was cool because Vu took me and Justin to some cool eating places on the street and then in the eveing we went to this local vietnamese place which did amazing food and we ordered loads of dishes and tied lots of new foods. We then went to these places on the street that sell 'Bia Hoi' which is beer made in the back of these random street sellers for 3000 dong and you just sit on the street and drink the extrememly cheap beer.

The next day i went on a boat trip to Halong Bay where i stayed in a boat over night on the bay. The bay is absolutely beautiful, there are about 3000 islands and there is only one that is inhabited, Cat Ba Island. i met really nice people on the boat, most of them are couples so i am sharing a room with a french girl (who doesnt talk that much). had cockracoahes in my bed on the boat so i am starting to hate the bloody things now. we went to see some really cool caves from the water and i met a girl in the caves who i stayed with in the dorm in Sihanoukville. today we went trekking on Cat Ba island whcih was a real achievement as it was quite a hard trek (well for me anyway) and had amazing views from the top of the mountain. i originally booked to go kayaking instead but the s***ty travel agancy mis sold me the trip and i didnt get to do the kayaking i wanted, but i figure when i get back to Hanoi tomorrow i will go and have a go at the travel agent and try and get some money back. after trekking we went to Cat ba island and we had free time so i went to the beach with one of the other couples. tomorrow we go back to hanoi.
